The Rosarian Fathers at Fatima Giri

The Rosarian congregation — the Servants of the Rosary, founded in Jaffna in 1928 — records that its first house in India, the Fatima Giri Ashram, was established here in 1944 by Antony Susainather, whom the order honours as a Servant of God. That this village is the birthplace of the Rosarians in India rests on the order's own account alone. The Fathers still keep their house at Fatima Giri, and with the Servite and Bethany Sisters they remain part of parish life today.

What this source establishes

Only that the Rosarian Fathers, the Servites and the Bethany Sisters are in the parish today. The parish's own book says nothing about 1944, Antony Susainather, or a foundation.
